What to Expect
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises! The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.
First Visit
On your first visit to our Downers Grove chiropractic office, you will be greeted warmly by a chiropractic assistant. You will fill out the new patient paperwork and be introduced to the doctor. While in the doctor’s office, Dr. Langgle will find out why you are there and why you want to get better.

After the initial consultation, you will then go into the exam room. In the exam room, the doctor will perform the necessary orthopedic, muscular, and neurological tests and then take x rays, if necessary, to determine if you are in the right place for your problem.

Right then and there, Dr. Langgle will do an adjustment on the problem area, giving you immediate relief on the first visit. You will then be scheduled for your next appointment to discuss the results of your tests and other findings. Your first visit will take approximately 30 minutes, but you will leave the chiropractic office feeling much better.
Second Visit
On your second visit to our office, you will be greeted again in the same warm friendly manner. You will be set up on the necessary therapies, and then you will be taken into the doctor’s office. The doctor will review your xrays and exam findings and lay out the appropriate treatment plan. Then you will receive your first adjustment. The second visit will take approximately 15 minutes.
Regular Visits
The typical office visit will consist of therapies and adjustments. You will always be treated with care and love, and a visit to our office will always be a great experience. Typical office visits will take approximately 10 minutes.
